The Role: Daily Operations and Key Support

This is an operations and customer service-focused role where you are responsible for keeping the daily bookings running smoothly. Your key duties will include:

- Managing Phone Calls and Queries: Answering a high volume of calls from childcare centres and schools needing staff and educators looking for work.

- Booking Educators for Work: Efficiently matching and booking educators into daily shifts for our clients using our booking system.

- Supporting Clients with Requests: Helping schools with basic questions, sending relevant staff information, and ensuring all their simple administrative needs are met quickly.

- Database Updates and Admin: Keeping all educator information up-to-date in our computer system.

- Compliance Checks: Collecting and checking important documents (e.g., police checks and teaching registrations) to ensure all educators are ready and approved to work.

- General Team Support: Assisting the wider team with paperwork, scheduling interviews, and other tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

Working Hours Expectation

We need someone who can work flexibly between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Your specific rostered shift will fall within this timeframe and will be agreed upon.

About You

- Experience in a phone-based, fast-paced customer service or administration role is desirable (e.g., call centre, reception, or similar).

- Excellent phone manner and a friendly, helpful approach to solving problems.

- Highly organised with great attention to detail.

- You are calm and reliable, even when things get busy.

- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

- Flexibility to work between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
