Overview

Work on one of Brisbane's largest transport projects. My client is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join their transport team on a billion-dollar highway upgrade in South East Queensland. Recruitment is underway now, and you could commence in the project team in January.

The Client

The transport division comprises over 100 professionals across the region, maintaining a collaborative culture and open communication.

The Role

This is a newly created position—evidence of genuine growth. The client needs a senior technical leader who can drive detailed design work while mentoring emerging talent. You'll be leading ideas, making key design decisions, and contributing to wider team development in the longer term.

Essential Requirements

- Formal qualifications in civil engineering

- 10+ years' experience in detailed design and drafting for TMR projects (or equivalent)

- Expert-level 12D and AutoCAD software skills

- Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing other drafters

- Strong understanding of highway geometric design and TMR specifications
