About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced open space turf maintenance operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a tight knit team in maintaining and enhancing green spaces across this prime site.

The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong commitment to quality and safety, capable of working alongside their team to maintain and enhance green spaces.

- Actively participate in mowing and groundskeeping tasks alongside your team.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of Mower Operators, ensuring safe, efficient and effective operations.
- Inspect sites regularly to ensure high standards of lawn maintenance and address any issues promptly.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure all mowing equipment is well-maintained and operational, arranging for repairs as needed.

About You

- Experience in open space turf management will be highly regarded
- Proven proficiency in operating and maintaining various mowing equipment.
- Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- A passion for and commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and sun
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
- Valid White Card.
- Valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Current Drivers' license.
