Your Role
As a Cook at Brunetti Brunswick, you will be part of a collaborative and energetic team, preparing a wide range of high-quality dishes and desserts that reflect our brand's rich Italian heritage.
Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking a range of savoury and sweet items, including handmade pastries, cakes, and tarts.

• Monitoring food quality and ensuring freshness and consistency across all dishes.

• Regulating oven, grill, and refrigeration temperatures to maintain optimal food safety and product standards.

• Seasoning, portioning, plating, and garnishing with attention to presentation.

• Assisting with special dietary meals, including gluten-free and allergen-sensitive items.

• Storing ingredients and finished products in temperature-controlled environments.

• Contributing to kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with health regulations.

• Supporting senior chefs with menu planning and estimating daily production volumes.

• May assist in training apprentices or new kitchen staff.
What You'll Bring

• 2+ years' experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably with pastry exposure.

• Confidence using industrial kitchen equipment and working in a high-output environment.

• Passion for Italian cuisine and traditional baking techniques.

• Excellent time management and communication skills.

• Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

• Relevant culinary qualifications or commercial cookery certification preferred.
