Job Description

Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team

As a HammondCare Golden Gamers Assistant Volunteer, you'll be helping fortnightly on a Thursday morning, by inviting, bringing and encouraging residents to participate in games. And helping them to return to their cottage for lunch afterwards.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care VolunteerVisitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

- 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Fortnightly on a Thursday morning between 10am-12pm or Mondays 12:45-2:15pm.
