Responsibilities
- Assist taking residents (on our bus with a staff member) to a local Children’s Centre, helping them engage with the preschool children (sing, dance, read stories, play games, etc.). A Working with Children Check is required.

Your impact – Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit and for yourself. Regular visits can help improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements
- 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
The visits run fortnightly on Monday mornings, leaving HC from 9:00am onwards and returning in time for lunch approx 11:45am.
