The analyst will provide stock recommendations based on thorough analysis, financial models and company/industry insights. The analyst must be able to present & market effectively, externally to fund managers and clients and, internally to institutional sales and sales traders. Analysts should view their role as an integral part of the team’s success. Effective teamwork contribution; actively generate ideas for the teams development; communicate issues that require action; support each other and ask for help when needed.**Key Areas of Responsibilities*** Provide proactive and differentiated research on the small cap sector* Develop financial models & valuation databases for all stocks under primary coverage* Respond to market news, earnings releases, corporate developments and other market-moving information when necessary and in a proactive manner* Develop and maintain key client relationships* Actively engage with clients and the relevant sales team members to communicate ideas to ensure maximum exposure/return from the time invested in producing research reports* Maintain sound working relationships with corporates, clients and government/industry organisations**Requirements*** Bachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably with finance and/or accounting major* 3-10 years’ experience as a research associate/analyst.
