Are you a strategic leader who knows how to get the best out of your team?

We're looking for a Construction Manager to join our client, who are one of Australia's leading modular building companies known for delivering fast, flexible, and cost-effective solutions across education, health, resources, government, and commercial sectors.

As the Construction Manager, your primary focus will be leading a team to success. You'll set the tone, direction, and expectations for delivery ensuring your people have the clarity, tools, and guidance they need to perform at their best. You'll be the connection point between operational execution and strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, develop, and support a high-performing team of Project Managers, Supervisors, and Admins.
- Drive team performance, accountability, and project outcomes across quality, time, and budget.
- Cultivate a positive, high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, and delivery.
- Align operational delivery with broader business goals in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory frameworks (including NCC and HSE).
- Monitor project pipelines, resourcing, and risks to support proactive decision-making.
- Coach and mentor your team to build long-term capability.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

- Trade and tertiary qualifications in Construction or related discipline including a Commercial Builders Licence (or willingness and ability to obtain)
- A significant amount of experience and a proven track record in construction leadership roles, ideally overseeing multiple projects and teams comprised of both direct staff and subcontractors.
- Experience in contracts administration and negotiations with both industry developed and Australian standards conditions
- Strong people leadership skills, you know how to influence, motivate and hold others accountable.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to balance operational detail with big-picture goals.
- Strong understanding of the Building Code of Australia and construction legislation
- Clear and confident communication both up and down the chain and with Clients.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to pivot, prioritise, and solve problems as they arise.
- Experience in modular construction (advantageous)
