At Hanrob Duffys Forest, our team is deeply committed to delivering exceptional care to every furry friend that walks through it's doors. We are now looking for the pick of the litter to complement our existing team and help contribute to providing a premium service to the local pets through our Dog Daycare Pet Taxi service, which operates Tuesday to Friday.
Candidates must be able to work Tuesday to Friday with shifts starting as early as 6:45am. Additional hours and days may be offered to work as an Animal Attendant in our boarding area, and the ideal candidate will be keen and flexible to work across these duties. Additional driving work filling in for our boarding van driver will be required from time to time.
Responsibilities:
- Transport animals from client homes to facility
- Interact with customers in a professional manner
- Handle animals in line with company policies and procedures
- Follow the company's collection procedures and protocols
- Animal Attendant duties - caring for boarding and daycare pets (feeding, grooming, enrichment), cleaning and upkeep of facility, health checks and general animal husbandry, ensuring accurate record keeping and entering information in our booking systems, creating and distributing media content for our pet owners through videos and photos
What we’re looking for:
- Ability to safely drive in Sydney traffic
- Previous experience working or volunteering with animals is preferred
- Honest with a high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding level of customer service
- Ability to safely drive in Sydney traffic
- Problem solver
- Available to attend a lawful unpaid work trial shift (operated within The Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines)
- Full Australian drivers licence
Please note: This is a physically active role that requires the ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, kneel, and handle animals (up to 50kg). You must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, and comfortably interact with pets, team members, and customers. A Pre-Employment Medical Disclosure will be required to ensure you can safely perform the inherent requirements of the role.
