A leading global fund administrator is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting focused Business Analyst to join their team working on a range of internal change projects including System upgrades and testing, transitions, new product launches and process improvements.

The role of the Senior Business Analyst plays an important role in supporting the business teams to deliver service provision to their clients. They will be the technical and project expert who brings in the outside BAU events successfully into the business environment to achieve a successful result.

Prior senior level Fund Accounting plus Projects / BA experience is required for this role.

Key responsibilities:

The Senior Business Analyst is an active senior member who manages and executes non business as usual initiatives. Specifically, the management and execution of:

- Projects.
- Transitions – in and out of the teams.
- New product launches.
- Managing and execution of systems testing.
- Management and completion of management reporting to key stakeholders.
- Specialist in systems, products, technical and processors to act as a lead across the teams.
- Lead in managing the offshoring process and successful integration with the Sydney teams

The Senior Business Analyst will be the technical and project expert who brings in the outside BAU events successfully into the business environment to achieve a successful result

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

- 7 years+ experience in fund accounting, unit pricing and a good understanding of tax services.
- Technical accounting ability – Knowledge of fund accounting, unit pricing, reporting and Tax and related operational risk and compliance requirements of the client service function.
- Systems experience: Hi-Portfolio, PControl unit pricing system and MS Word & Excel
- Degree qualified in Business or Accounting
- CPA Qualified or post degree systems qualifications preferred
- Understanding of the full service model of master custody
- Awareness of financial market securities and fund products for which you provide accounting services
- Ability to provide pragmatic and commercial solutions in problem solving
- Systems- Hiport, Datawarehouse, pControl and respective Registry interphases
