Your opportunity Graduate Mechanical Engineer M2P Engineering – Salisbury, Brisbane Engineering > Mechanical Full Time As our valued Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across diverse projects, from mining and industrial to marine sectors. Based onsite at Salisbury, Brisbane, you’ll draw on your mechanical engineering knowledge and enthusiasm for learning to contribute to project design, planning, and execution, ensuring outcomes meet M2P’s high standards. Most importantly, you will be supported by a down-to-earth team of leaders, experts and reliable, hard-working people who step up for you. You’ll make an impact by: - Assisting in the design and development of mechanical systems for a variety of projects - Supporting the Engineering team with preparation of project documentation, including tender documents, scope of works, and design drawing packages - Production planning and coordination of fabrication packages across our workshops - Working closely with production to maximise utilisation of automated robot welding and CNC beamline equipment - Developing work packs, including the creation, compilation, and review of technical and quality documents required - Liaising with clients, internal teams, suppliers, and sub-contractors as required - Providing input into daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, as well as project claims - Assisting with technical planning input into project schedules and ensuring milestones are met by engaging with all key stakeholders What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering - Strong understanding of mechanical design principles - Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Enthusiasm for learning and developing practical skills Ideally, you will also have: - Previous internship or work experience in mechanical engineering projects - Exposure to mining, industrial, or marine engineering environments - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Experience supporting project documentation, fabrication planning, and client liaison - A flexible, can-do attitude Why M2P Engineering?
