By keeping the kitchen organised and supporting meal preparation, you’ll help create moments of comfort and joy that truly makes it feel like home. This is a permanent part-time role offering 32 hours per fortnight. Week 1 & 2 Tuesday:15:00-19:00 Thursday:15:00-19:00 Saturday:15:00-19:00 Sunday:15:00-19:00 Key responsibilities - Prepare and plate food, serve and clear away meals in line with food preparation schedules. - Maintain the food preparation and serving areas to state hygiene standards. - Maintain appropriate resident interactions in line with the organizational values. - Consider resident lifestyles and personal choice. - Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with others. - Collect all temperature and cleaning records for the week and place in manager’s basket for checking and signing. - Record any dietary changes on master print out. - Check on stock requirements, e.g. bread, milk, OJ, yoghurt and change as necessary. - As required replenish shopping supplies which are specific and not currently available from usual supplier. - Proven organisational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required - Willingness to attend 1 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute Qualifications & requirements - Evidence of COVID-19 and current flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies - Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity) - Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks - NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain) How to apply If you are interested in this role and meet the essential criteria, please click the "apply now" button.
