LGNSW, specifically Management Solutions, provides specialist contractors to NSW councils to address skill gaps and manage complex projects. These contracts require expertise that can be difficult to source for some Councils or are for periods of times that may be incompatible with permanent employees. These positions are a great opportunity to apply your skillset in councils that will greatly benefit from your impact. Furthermore, these roles can have great earning potential along with the chance to work on some truly exciting projects.
At this stage, we are calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced specialist contractors, interested in doing future short to medium term contracts for Councils across NSW in the following field:
Field
- Governance (IP&R, Councillor training, Risk management, policy review)
To be considered
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- A minimum of 5+ years' experience in the sector
- Experience working in Local Government
- Tertiary/Formal qualifications
- A company limited by guarantee, with an ACN
- Have own Professional Indemnity, Workers Compensation (in accordance with the law) and Public Liability Insurances and any other insurance policy in connection with the Services to be provided as specified in the relevant Statement of Work
- At least two recent work referees
- If currently working in Local Government, you will need to comply with your Council's Secondary Employment Policy.
