With deep expertise in our chosen areas, we have built a strong record of success supporting national and international clients.
Your New Role

You will also play a key role in mentoring and growing this talented team, strengthening existing client relationships and continuing to build the firm’s reputation in the energy and resources sector.
The Work You’ll Lead
You will advise clients across the full project lifecycle, including:
- Transactions & Structuring – acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures.
- Regulatory Approvals & Compliance – permitting, environmental regulation, and incident management.
- Commercial & Infrastructure – project commercialisation, commodity sales, royalties, and access to key infrastructure.
- Land, Water & Community – land access, compensation, water management, native title, and cultural heritage.
- Closure & Disputes – decommissioning, rehabilitation, risk management, and claims resolution.
Culture & Benefits
You’ll join a team that values collaboration, quality, and professional growth. Benefits include:
- A friendly, high‑performing team with a genuine, down‑to‑earth culture.
- Opportunities to mentor and shape the next generation of lawyers.
- Ongoing career development and training programs tailored to your goals.
- 16 weeks paid parental leave.
- Flexible working arrangements available to all staff.
- Social and wellbeing initiatives that make this a workplace people are proud to be part of.
- Access to national firm resources without losing the close‑knit feel.
Your Skills Profile
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Significant experience as a senior energy and resources lawyer, with established client relationships and a proven track record of leading major matters.
- A client following.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on developing people and fostering collaboration.
- Commercial acumen, with the ability to guide clients through complex, long‑term projects.
- A genuine interest in the future of the energy and resources sector; and
