Location

This role is Remote / Home Office, with extensive travel (up to 3-4 days a week) across the territory in New South Wales to key regional accounts and distribution channels.

What You'll Do:

As our new Business Development Manager - New South Wales, you will take ownership of retail and on-premise accounts across the state, driving customer engagement, distribution, and sales growth. You will be responsible for delivering commercial success across the Mark Anthony Brands Australia portfolio, including the iconic White Claw brand and our new-to-world sports hydration drink, MAS+ by Messi. With a strong focus on new business development and brand activation, you will expand outlet coverage, execute impactful promotional and events programs, and build lasting customer relationships to strengthen our portfolio’s presence in the New South Wales market.

Additional key responsibilities include:

Manage and grow retail and on-premise accounts across New South Wales, delivering volume, profitability, and sustainable sales growth.

Develop and execute journey plans (monthly, fortnightly, weekly, daily) to maximize customer engagement and sales opportunities.

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across national, independent, and on-premise accounts to drive long-term business partnerships.

Lead execution of promotional and pricing plans, ensuring compliance with national agreements and local alignment.

Drive distribution of core SKUs and new product developments (NPDs) across retail and on-premise channels, securing incremental space and visibility.

Develop and implement a local events and sampling plan, including two tastings per week, to build brand awareness and trial.

Partner with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, and Brand) to ensure seamless campaign delivery and accurate state forecasting.

Track and report on key KPIs, including volume growth, profitability, forecast accuracy, ROI (Return on Investment) from events, and execution of promotional activity.

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

3+ years’ experience in FMCG sales managing National or Key Accounts; preferably within the liquor industry.

Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to deliver volume, profit, and growth targets.

Proven selling, negotiation, and objection-handling skills, with a hunter mentality and track record of capturing new business.

Experience planning and executing events, activations, and in-store/on-premise promotions to build brand visibility and trial.

Full clean drivers license and willingness to travel 3-4 days per week, including overnight stays as needed.
