About the role:

We're looking for a compassionate and committed Youth Support Worker to join our team in Emerald. In this role you'll work directly with young people to improve their safety, wellbeing and future opportunities.
What will a typical day look like?
- Provide casemanagement and individualised support to young people with complex needs
- Facilitate access to secure housing, education, employment, and community engagement
- Support cultural connection and reduce risk‑taking behaviours
- Collaborate with families, schools, and community services
- Maintain high-quality records and contribute to program outcomes
- Deliver early intervention strategies and therapeutic support
Mandatory Requirements:
- Certificate IV or higher in a discipline relating to Behavioural Sciences or equivalent.

What you will bring to the role:

- The ability to identify and embed solutions.
- Demonstrated experience working within a high‑performance framework where you are accountable for KPIs on program delivery and outcomes, within a fast‑paced solutions‑focused environment.
- Effective time‑management and organisational skills.
- A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
- Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
