The Company:

Gunn Agri Partners was established in 2013 and provides agricultural investment and farm management services for Australian, North American and European investors. They adopt an industry-leading framework that integrates sustainability in the design and delivery of their strategies and a mandate to transparently report against investor's target outcomes.

Focusing on mixed farming enterprises and natural asset development, they manage a ~$1.05B portfolio of investment assets across various platforms. By lifting productivity and optimising land use, they integrate a sustainable enterprise mix of cropping, grazing and biodiversity conservation.

This portfolio, Faulkner Farming, also known as the Transforming Farming Platform, established in 2021, consists of four aggregations spread across NSW and South Australia, comprising 21kha. You will be a role model in the core values of the business – including integrity, teamwork and community commitment. A comprehensive back office provides support for the General Manager and the Faulkner Farming business. Specifically, this involves:

- leading and managing farm aggregation managers and their teams
- driving workplace health and safety and building a robust safety culture
- setting and managing budgets and forecasts
- managing natural capital assets
- implementing the sustainability policy of the businesses
- oversee all capital expenditure programs, including the implementation of sustainability strategies.

The Person:

To be successful in this hands-on yet strategic role you will have the following capabilities:

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proven experience in managing agricultural operations.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural production, sustainability practices, and business processes.
- Appreciation of natural capital.

This portfolio is an exciting role as the business is establishing its core DNA and culture and open to a leader to put your stamp on the business and take it to the next level. You might be a well experienced GM or have experience managing a couple of Farm Managers and ready to step up to GM.

Whilst Tamworth would be an ideal base for this role, there is flexibility to be located anywhere along the eastern seaboard, provided there is convenient access to a well-connected airport.
