Summary: As an Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of hourly associates in shipping and distributing parts across the country and managing customer order fulfillment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising team members, conducting performance reviews, overseeing development, managing attendance, payroll, and corrective actions.
- Assisting with inventory control procedures such as cycle counting for all materials and products.
- Implementing warehouse procedures and service standards aligned with organizational guidelines.
- Suggesting and refining processes to meet customer deadlines and quality standards.
- Developing performance metrics and auditing operations for efficiency and quality.
- Ensuring proper receipt, checking, and documentation of incoming items in the ERP system.
- Overseeing packaging, shipping, and inventory of packaging materials to prevent damage and support operations.
- Coordinating shipments and deliveries, utilizing software for label creation and scheduling pickups.
- Monitoring parts preparation, material handling, and packaging equipment.
- Maintaining communication with customers and supporting teams to ensure accuracy.
- Assisting sales and customer service teams to ensure timely shipments.
- Training team members on warehouse vehicle operation, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Evaluating costs and performance of warehouse procedures and service standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- 4-5 years of relevant experience, including packing and shipping processes.
- At least 1 year of team lead or supervisory experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- 6 years of leadership experience in high-volume, multi-shift distribution centers preferred.
- Experience with Quantum Controls software.
