Overview
Our client provides capability to the ADF and is seeking technical experts to join their expanding team. Our client has been instrumental in delivering capability to defence for many years now. We are seeking professional AME(s) (Mechanical, Structural and Avionics) with experience in rotary or fixed wing; reinforcing and filling out an established team in its growth. Critically, these roles are crucial in allowing the warfighter and manoeuvre commanders to deliver the effect they need at the right time.
Applicants will be joining a motivated and professional team of technical, engineering, logistic professionals. The team will expect new members to enhance that team and bring with them a desire for new challenges and opportunities.
Qualifications
- CERT IV Aeroskills (Mechanical, Structural or Avionics) Or CERT III in Aeroskills with the will to learn
- Solid experience in Defence Aerospace; fixed or rotary
- Knowledge and experience in certification
- A good understanding of DASA policy and regulatory framework
- Good communication skills
- Must hold a current ADF security clearance
Location and relocation
The roles are based in Sydney or Southeast QLD; however, financial support is available to candidates who are willing to relocate to these locations. A role for service members wishing to transition from fulltime service to reserves, this is a good opportunity for a 'soft' landing, so to speak.
How to apply
You will possess an energetic 'can do' approach to technical problems and a desire to excel in your field. This is a great opportunity to join one of Australia's leading Aerospace professional service providers who are focused on the warfighter. Candidates experienced in DASR M, 145 and or 66 should apply to this role.
Strictly - To apply, candidates must have either a current AGSVA issued security clearance or have one that may have recently lapsed but still reinstatable to apply. ITAR restrictions apply to this program.
APPLY NOW - This is an urgent role and our client is looking to interview immediately.
All applications should include your resume as a Word document.
