The Position
The Palliative Care Medicine Registrar position is a six-month funded Clinical Foundation (previously Clinical Diploma) position designed for physicians who wish to gain experience in the specialty. It is expected that the post holder would work towards the Clinical Foundation in Palliative Medicine with the Royal College of Physicians. The post holder will be released to attend the advanced trainee education program online and in Melbourne.
Experience will be gained in the following:
- Working within a multi-disciplinary Community Specialist Palliative Care Service
- Hospital in-reach through the Palliative Care at Home program
- Palliative medicine outpatient clinics
