What you’ll do:
- Work closely with Partners, clients, and stakeholders to provide high-quality tax consulting services.
- Mentor and develop a team of professionals, helping them achieve their potential.
- Stay ahead of evolving tax laws and regulations to provide the best advice to clients.
- Contribute to the growth of the firm, with opportunities to lead projects, write articles, and present at industry events.
- Manage client relationships, budgets, and workflow to ensure a smooth and efficient taxation division.
About you:
- You have experience in Australian taxation advisory services and a passion for helping clients.
- You’re a strong leader who enjoys mentoring and developing a high-performing team.
- You’re commercially minded, with the ability to build strong client relationships and drive business growth.
- You have a proactive and positive approach, always looking for ways to improve and grow.
- You’re hungry to learn and keen to develop into a future leader.
Qualifications, knowledge and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or Law
- Completed CA, CPA, or CTA (or working towards completion)
- Extensive knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations, including income tax, CGT, international tax, GST, FBT, payroll tax, and Division 7A.
- Proficiency in tax research and report writing
- 5 – 10+ years of experience in Australian taxation services within a professional services environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and provide advisory support.
- Ability to drive business growth, whether through new client acquisition or expanding existing relationships.
- Experience with larger client groups and sophisticated business structures with multiple entities and technical complexity.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of mentoring high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
