
Site Engineer

General Duties
- Collaborate with the project manager and other stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate activities with various construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work conforms to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards for all materials.
- Ensure that contractual obligations are met and resolve any disputes that may arise.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including the project manager, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor project costs and expenditures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Proven experience in civil engineering across earthworks, road, drainage, etc., with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- A strong focus on health and safety.
- Effectively communicate in meetings with consultants, clients, management & on-site personnel.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English is a fundamental requirement.
Location: Site based in Newcastle Monday to Friday.
