Job Description:?
As a Full-Time Chef at RÜH, you will play a crucial role in the culinary operations of our establishment.
Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for:
* Menu Development: Collaborating with the culinary team to conceptualize and create innovative and seasonal menus that showcase the best of our cuisine.
* Food Preparation: Executing food preparation tasks efficiently and with attention to detail, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
* Cooking: Cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes and specifications, maintaining consistency and flavor profiles across all menu items.
* Kitchen Management: Overseeing daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies to ensure adequate stock levels at all times.
* Hygiene and Safety: Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items, as well as maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
* Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely service during busy periods.
* Training and Development: Assisting in the training and development of junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them grow and excel in their roles.
* Adherence to Regulations: Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience working as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a positive and proactive attitude.
* Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery or culinary arts are preferred.
