About the Role
Teaming up with a supportive Relationship Manager, you'll help manage and grow relationships with the owners and decision makers of some of our largest and most sophisticated customers in the commercial mid-market.
You'll help solve complex challenges, building deep technical expertise across banking products such as working capital financing, trade finance, cash management and trade facilities. You'll also develop breadth, with exposure to customers with a national presence and unique needs across a range of industries.

What will your day look like?
Working with your Relationship Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of customers by:
- Proactively developing and maintaininga detailed understanding of the customer's business and financial needs
- Actingin the best interest of the customer and applying a customer-centric approach, to support the customer's business needs with suitable products and services
- Providing appropriate solutions towards account maintenance and customer needs
- Maintaininga well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures
- Maintainingcontrol of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment process
- Collaboratingwith product partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customer needs
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Prior experience in a commercial banking frontline roles and commercial lending
- Ability to help manage strong customer relationships by handling service queries and solving minor issues
- Strong communication skills to assist customers effectively
- Attention to detail when reviewing agreements and contracts.
- Ability to assess a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors (the 5Cs of credit)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep track of customer documentation, banking transactions, and internal communications
- Familiarity with risk management concepts, particularly in credit risk, risk and market risk
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as KYC (Know your Customer) and AML (anti- money laundering).
