Adelaide, Australia Abby Health Full time

About Abby Health

Abby Health is Australia’s busiest online clinic, built for the future of primary care. Founded in 2023, Abby was established to address one of the most urgent issues in Australian healthcare: access.

We connect patients to licensed GPs and nurse practitioners through same-day, online first care—delivering high-quality treatment for everyday issues. Our approach is guided by three core values: Smart, Beautiful, and Caring.

About the role

We offer fully remote, flexible, full-time, part-time, or casual opportunities across Australia, 7 days a week, from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm. We offer a transparent and competitive remuneration model, including $150+ per hour and no lock-in contracts.

- Medicare rebates only, ensuring a high volume of patients without financial barriers
- Minimal post-consultation admin—our support team handles patient follow-ups and documentation

Responsibilities

As a Telehealth Nurse Practitioner at Abby Health, you will provide virtual consultations and patient assessments, helping individuals across Australia access quality care from the comfort of their homes. Your role will involve:

- Conducting virtual consultations via phone and video for general health concerns, chronic conditions, and acute presentations
- Providing prescriptions, referrals, pathology requests, and ongoing treatment plans
- Reviewing structured patient histories before consultations to improve clinical efficiency
- Carrying out follow-ups and long-term care management, ensuring continuity of care
- Supporting a diverse patient base, including individuals in regional and remote areas who may have limited access to in-person care

What we offer

We offer industry-leading rates, bulk-billing options, and a dedicated support team that responds to clinician requests in under 9 minutes. Our intelligent Telehealth platform is built to enhance clinical decision-making and streamline patient care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner
- Medicare Provider Number eligibility to claim, refer, and request services
- Proficiency with digital patient management software (telehealth experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time effectively
