Key Responsibilities:

- Developing and maintaining applications within the GE Smallworld GIS platform
- Working with Magik programming language to implement custom business logic
- Integrating Smallworld with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Esri, FME, or custom APIs)
- Supporting system upgrades, enhancements, and data migrations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, and engineers

Skills & Requirements:

- Proven experience with GE Smallworld and the Magik programming language
- Strong knowledge of GIS concepts and utility network data models (electricity, gas, water)
- Experience with Smallworld Core, Design Manager, PowerOn Fusion, or GE WebGIS is highly desirable
- Understanding of software development principles (Agile/Scrum, version control, testing)
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a team environment

Nice to Have:

- Experience in Python, Java, or integration tools like FME
- Exposure to cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
- Previous work in utilities, telco, or infrastructure sectors
