GE Smallworld Tester

This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in GE Smallworld or comparable Operational Technology (OT) platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day support for GE Smallworld and related GIS/OT applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, incidents, and performance bottlenecks.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and data migration activities.
- Work closely with developers, architects, and functional teams to triage and resolve defects.
- Document support procedures, configurations, and known issues.
- Ensure SLAs and compliance standards are met across support processes.

Skills & Requirements:

- Experience supporting GE Smallworld, PowerOn, eTerra, or similar operational technology platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Oracle/MySQL, and scripting for system admin tasks.
- Familiarity with Java, Magik, Python, or other relevant languages is a plus.
- Proactive problem solver with good communication and stakeholder skills.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
- ITIL awareness or experience working within a structured support environment is desirable.
