We are on the lookout for a passionate, proactive, and community-minded professional to join our team as a Community Safety & Emergency Management Officer. In this exciting and meaningful role, you/u2019ll lead the way in strengthening public safety and building preparedness through innovative programs and powerful community partnerships.

What You/u2019ll Be Doing:

- Assist during emergencies, providing vital coordination, communication, and support to keep the community safe.
- Collect and analyse data on community risks to inform proactive safety initiatives and emergency preparedness.
- Collaborate with emergency services, community groups, and internal teams to develop and implement effective safety and emergency management initiatives.
- Proactively share engaging safety and emergency information with stakeholders and community members, empowering them to be prepared.
- Actively source grant funding opportunities to support the delivery of innovative community safety and emergency management programs.

We/u2019re Looking for Someone Who Has:

- Qualifications and/or experience in Community Safety, Emergency Management, or related fields.
- A strong understanding of current safety and resilience issues affecting the local community
- A proven ability to identify, evaluate, and implement creative solutions to enhance community wellbeing.
- Experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting relationships with the community and partner agencies.
