The Role
You will contribute to and support the effective integration of the Project Delivery Group’s systems and processes with those of Enterprise Business Groups and Delivery Framework Partners. This integration aims to ensure consistency, manage commercial and contractual risks, and achieve the performance KPIs and targets of the Capital Works Program. Additionally, you will actively participate as a member of the Project Delivery Group’s Portfolio Management Function and Teams, as well as the wider Project Delivery Group including Delivery Framework Partners, to promote a collaborative, outcome focused, and performance-driven team culture and work practices.
Responsibilities
- Champion the efficient integration of systems and processes to promote consistency and enhance business performance
- Source, collate and analyse data, and develop and coordinate portfolio/program/project-level reports to agreed reporting timeframes and deadlines
- Utilisation of Project/Portfolio management and reporting systems and associated applications
- Collaboratively contribute to a friendly and performance-oriented team culture
- Help achieve Capital Works Program performance KPIs and targets through effective collaboration and process alignment
What we're looking for
We are seeking a proactive team player with strong collaboration skills to support the integration of systems and processes across multiple business groups. The ideal candidate will help manage risks, drive performance, and contribute to a results-focused, high-performing team culture within the Project Delivery Group.
- Tertiary education in Project Management, or Business / Finance
- Demonstrable understanding of project and program delivery management systems, terminology and concepts
- 5+ years experience in a similar role such as Project Support Officer or Project Controller, within private or public sector
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prior experience within water utility sector highly regarded
- Proactive team player with proven ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and consult with internal and external stakeholders

The Details
This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of $103,701.29 - $109,462.48 (inclusive of superannuation).
