As a Buyer in our Homewares division, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our product strategy, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional commercial outcomes. You'll lead the development of trend-inspired ranges that resonate with our customers, while leveraging data, insights, and supplier partnerships to unlock growth opportunities and maximise profitability.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Range Development: Build commercially viable, trend-led assortments that balance price, volume, quality, and innovation to drive sustained category growth.
- Growth Leadership: Identify and execute growth strategies that deliver double-digit increases in sales and profit, supported by robust financial planning and forecasting.
- Trend & Customer Insight: Translate global trends and customer insights into compelling product ranges with a consistent brand identity.
- End-to-End Ownership: Manage the full product lifecycle, from concept through to in-store delivery, ensuring alignment with critical path timelines and business objectives.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong supplier relationships and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class products and commercial outcomes.

You are a driven, talented and creative buyer looking to be part of the amazing Homewares team and joining one of Australia's most loved retailer then this is the role for you.
As the Buyer in Homewares, you will manage key relationships with suppliers to ensure growth for products within your own specified category and to deliver best practice.

- Proven success in driving significant category growth and delivering increased profit in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong product development experience with a sharp eye for trends and customer preferences.
- Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset and data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Experience in General Merchandise is essential and Homewares experience highly desirable.
- Extensive Buying experience combined with trend awareness.
- Commercial focus working in a dynamic fast paced team.
- Highly driven and motivated.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven success driving category growth and delivering increased profit.
