What you’ll be responsible for

- Designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Creating efficient Python solutions for data processing and analysis.
- Developing REST and/or GraphQL APIs to deliver scalable data services.
- Monitoring, optimising, and improving the performance of data pipelines and storage solutions.
- Collaborating with engineers and analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

What you’ll bring to the role

- Proven experience as a Python developer with strong coding fundamentals.
- Experience working in Linux environments and with containerisation (Docker).
- Familiarity with job orchestration tools such as Airflow or Mage.ai.
- Experience with streaming and big data tools (Kafka, Spark, Flink).
- Hands-on experience creating REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability to evolving project requirements
