Senior Pricing Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pricing Lead – Systems & Process to join our Commercial team in either Broadbeach or Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and optimise pricing operations within Australia’s largest and most admired inflight caterer, and a global leader in air services, dnata.

As the Senior Pricing Lead, you will play a critical role in optimising system data, cross-functional processes, and reporting to streamline pricing, ensure accurate revenue recovery, and improve customer profitability. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure our pricing and revenue recognition processes are both robust and efficient to deliver the right solution, at the right price, for the right customer, every time.

In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are

- Standardise Sales Order data (ie. menu, services, price, loadscale) validation processes and reports to an agreed methodology across stakeholders ensuring accuracy, removing duplication and discrepancies through incompatible data processes.
- Perform complex analysis of pricing and systems and challenge critical assumptions.
- Deliver and improve on standardised pricing summaries and reports covering existing and new business.
- Identify existing and potential system capability in regards to costing and pricing, define new processes and work with stakeholders to implement enhanced capability
- Update internal systems, including JDE (ERP) and QAD, with latest customer pricing details.
- Work cross-functionally to update and ensure internal and Customer systems match to result in Sales Order and Invoice matching.
- Define and maintain accurate cost and recharge data for costs not captured within menu and handling prices.
- Identify system data relevant to costing and pricing processes and create reports and processes to automate download, upload, validation and reporting, in collaboration with the Pricing Team.
- Represent Pricing and work with stakeholders to ensure system capability is fit for costing, pricing and revenue recovery processes
- Develop measures to improve business performance and support business decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to keep datasets accurate, reconciled, and up to date.

What do you need to be successful in securing this role?

- Advanced MS Excel skills essential.
- Experience with JDE or other ERP system essential.
- Experience with QAD and Power BI essential.
- Professional experience in Pricing, Management Accounting, or Finance Management required.
- Experience in process improvement across multiple functional areas
- Airline industry or manufacturing experience highly regarded.
- Demonstrated strong research and analytical skills.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate reporting to tight deadlines.
- Proven capability in stakeholder management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to balance operational accuracy with strategic outcomes.
