An opportunity has become available for a detail-oriented, hands-on, and driven HSEQ Manager to lead and enhance quality, environmental, health, and safety systems within a fast-paced and collaborative organisation based in Dandenong, VIC.

Let's get straight to what you need to know about the role:

- Permanent full-time office-based position in Dandenong, Victoria
- Access to a car to visit sites to conduct audits and investigations
- Support from your direct line manager who has skills in HSEQ and has a long tenure with the organisation
- Opportunity to update, reenergise and transform the current process and systems.

What the roles involve:

- Maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Lead HSEQ audits and implement corrective actions
- Implement and maintain ISO-certified Integrated Management Systems (AS/NZS 45001, 14001, and 9001),
- Support the construction and field team on QEHS-related issues.
- Develop and monitor an annual QEHS program and associated KPIs
- Maintain risk registers and ensure risk mitigation strategies are in place
- Guide Project Managers on compliance requirements during tenders
- Facilitate the EHS committee and drive workforce engagement
- Deliver regular reports to the leadership team and Operations Manager
- Promote continuous improvement, environmental protection, and risk-based thinking
- Ensure compliance with WHS codes, standards, and legal requirements
- Leading internal and external audits and building a strong safety and compliance culture across all levels of the business.

Who are we looking for:

- Tertiary qualifications in Quality, EHS or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in HSEQ management with ISO accreditations in the telecommunication industry.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High-level attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with internal and external digital systems/platforms
- Valid driving license

Desirable:

- Experience in the construction or infrastructure industry
- Certified auditor with operational audit experience
- Current First Aid certificate
