Are you a dynamic HSEQ leader ready to drive safety, quality, and environmental excellence? Do you thrive in a business partnering role, working closely with key stakeholders to enhance HSEQ performance?

At BildGroup, we are seeking an experienced HSEQ Operations Manager to lead and mentor a team of five professionals while driving a proactive safety-first culture. Reporting to the Group Head of HSEQ, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across our projects.

What You'll Do

Manage and develop a team of five HSEQ professionals, fostering a culture of trust and high performance. Work closely with senior management, project teams, and external stakeholders to integrate best HSEQ practices. Oversee investigations, risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions to continuously improve safety standards. Provide coaching and guidance to site teams, ensuring proactive risk management and compliance. Identify and drive initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, and overall business performance. Ensure adherence to OFSC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, meeting all regulatory requirements.

What You'll Bring

Minimum Diploma in OHS is essential Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable) More than five years hands-on HSEQ experience, preferably in construction, civil infrastructure, mining or gas. Min. five years' experience in leading a HSEQ Operations team across multiple sites, including remote locations. Strong knowledge of OHS Acts and regulations, Construction Industry Codes of Practice documents, and road maintenance & construction methods. Data-driven mindset with experience in HSEQ reporting and performance monitoring Willingness to travel to regional sites as required (Valid driver's licence essential) Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
