Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading construction Tier 2 commercial builder in Canberra, supporting the delivery of high-profile projects across the ACT region.

This Tier 2 builder is experiencing strong growth, making it an exciting time to come on board.

Responsibilities

- Assisting with planning, programming, and coordination of construction activities.
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitoring project costs, budgets, and progress against program.
- Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Preparing reports, schedules, and project documentation.

About You / Qualifications

- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer (or Site Engineer stepping up) within the construction industry.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience on commercial, defence, or government projects will be highly regarded.
