Your Role: You'll play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate, client-centered support within a trauma-informed framework. Your responsibilities will include providing social engagement, mentoring, transportation, and supervision to the young people in our care. You will implement clinically guided support plans and work closely with caseworkers, therapeutic providers, and clinical staff to help create and maintain a safe, positive, and therapeutic environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in young people's lives, supporting their journey towards healing, independence, and a brighter future.
What you need to be successful in your role:
- A Diploma in Community Services or other relevant Diploma
- Experience and understanding of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic care
- Resilience, patience, and at times a sense of humor—all rolled into one
- Availability for a variety of shifts including weekends and sleep-over shifts
- Genuine desire and commitment to make a difference in young people's lives
