Position Information

Ungarie Central School is located in the rural town of Ungarie on the edge of the Central West of NSW. With a current enrolment of 87, Ungarie Central School caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. There are 46 students from K‑6 and 41 students in years 7‑12. Approximately 16% of students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

Remuneration Package

Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $151,704.00. Base salary ranges from $87,550.00 to $133,846.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative and differentiated Mathematics teaching and learning programs that engage and support a diverse range of students.

- Well‑developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to contribute towards school priorities.

- Demonstrated ability to use effective classroom management skills and wellbeing practices to create a classroom environment that is engaging and fosters a culture of high expectations.

- Unconditional full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education; if you do not hold a full approval, you must commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
