ABOUT THE ROLE

EPEC is on the lookout forCommissioning Techniciansto help us deliver high-quality substation projects. You’ll be making sure both primary plant and secondary systems are commissioned accurately and efficiently.

In this role, you’ll manage commissioning activities, working with both internal teams and contractors to keep everything on track, compliant, and within scope. You’ll also use your industry know-how to develop commissioning and outage plans, testing procedures, and manage the staging of works.

We’re seeking someone who can effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities in dynamic environments, and collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams. If you possess robust engineering expertise and a cooperative approach to project delivery, we encourage you to apply.

ABOUT YOU

- You are trade qualified and hold and electrical licence.
- You bring several years of experience working on complex, multi-discipline high voltage grid connection projects—ideally in design, build, and commissioning environments.
- You’re dedicated, proactive, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves to solve problems and hit tight deadlines.
- You know how to build strong relationships with clients and can confidently influence senior stakeholders.
- You’ve got a solid handle on risk management and quality assurance.
- A valid Australian driver’s licence is a must.
- You have full working rights in Australia.
