Overview

We’re recruiting for an experienced Turnaround Materials Controller to join our offshore Energy team in Perth. This role will act as a key Monadelphous focal point in the management of Turnaround materials planning and execution. This position is based in our client's office in Perth CBD with regular pre-turnaround travel offshore, and offshore attendance is a requirement during the Turnaround event.

Key Responsibilities

- Acts as a Monadelphous focal point for our supply chain scope in the planning, execution and close-out phases of the turnaround.
- Provides support to the Turnaround team for all materiel relative to the turnaround in accordance with approved procedures, work processes, and standards.
- Interface with management teams in client, Monadelphous and sub-contractors’ organisations.
- Liaise with work planners and schedulers during the planning phase and work closely with field Coordinators, Supervision, Contractors, Client Operations, Projects and Discipline teams in all phases.
- Implements the Turnaround Deck Management Plan in conjunction with the day to day operations Supply Chain / Warehouse team on site.
- Supports the development of resource plans and supervises field execution.

What you’ll bring

- Experience in the energy industry
- Sound understanding of material management principles
- Willingness to travel to site as per business requirements
- Experience with CMMS systems, preferably SAP
- Dangerous Goods (MO41) declaration authority (desirable)
- Valid Australian Driver’s License
- Proof of right to work in Australia

What you’ll bring (continued)

- Evidence of relevant Oil & Gas turnaround / shutdown pre-planning and field experience
- A working knowledge of all aspects of Supply Chain, Marine Logistics, Quality Management systems, HSSE processes and Personnel Management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
- Understanding of people and team management activities
