Nido Early School Athelstone is seeking a Permanent and casual cook to join our early learning community. We're inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and are passionate about delivering contemporary educational practices for our children, educators and families. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone looking for a more purpose led role, where you will provide healthy meals to our children, nourishing them through food and with knowledge of healthy eating practices

About you

- Are a voice for all children

- Care about children’s nutrition and dietary requirements

- Contribute to Exceeding outcomes for children and Educators

- Have great time management and love keeping a kitchen in premium condition

Skills & Experience

- A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain

- Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (required)

- Cert II / III in Commercial Cooking, highly regarded, however not required

- Cooking experience in an early childhood or health care sector, highly regarded
