About the Role

An opportunity has become available for a Drill and Blast Supervisor to join Whitehaven's Gunnedah Open Cut operations. As part of one of Australia’s leading coal producers, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe and efficient drill and blast activities across two sites. Reporting to the Drill and Blast Superintendent, you’ll lead daily operations, ensuring compliance, performance, and safety are always front of mind.

What You’ll Do

- Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental and company requirements.

- Supervise daily drilling and blasting operations including prestarts, inspections and drill preparations across Gunnedah Open Cuts.

- Supervise and support drill & blast crews to maintain safe and productive operations.

What You’ll Bring

- Previous experience in drill & blast operations within an open cut mining environment.

- Strong knowledge of risk management and safe work practices.

- Prior experience with leadership/mentoring highly regarded.

- Solid understanding of drilling practices, preparation and inspection processes.
