Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 31 January 2026. What is our Clerk - Ward role? Clerk - Ward is responsible for the provision of the ward administration / clerical services, admission and discharge procedures and medical record maintenance. This includes: - Providing a comprehensive ward reception service to staff, patients and members of the public. - Preparing and maintaining patient medical records relating to ward admissions, internal transfers and discharges. - Liaising with the Ward CNS/Ward Shift Coordinator and/or Discharge Coordinator in arranging patient transport through the Patient Assisted Transport Service (PATS) to various facilities.
