PGS Industries is a dynamic designer and manufacturer of high-quality and innovative electrical switchboards and fabricated metal products for 30 years. Our clients are in the electrical contracting and resource industries.

PGS Industries has advanced CNC machinery in the welding industry which includes:

1. Solidworks software
2. Metalix programming
3. CNC Turret
4. Welding facilities

The successful candidate will possess:

1. Basic experience in the sheet metal industry is essential
2. Use of Solidworks/CNC programming would be preferred, and we can also offer in-house training.
3. Ability to interpret schematic diagrams and general arrangement drawings
4. Ability to work autonomously and collectively to meet team goals
5. A strong work ethic and a reliable and enthusiastic attitude
6. Dedication to the pursuit of quality and excellence
7. Clear verbal and written communication skills required

Ideally, the successful candidate may also possess:

1. Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.
2. Experience in switchboard manufacturing with quality copper busbar workmanship
3. Use of Solidworks/Jetcam/Metalix.

A paid working trial prior to commitment will also be available.

We are willing to devote substantial resources to training and mentoring our staff. Getting the candidate with the best potential and attitude is the most important thing to us. You would be based at our workshop in Wangara, Perth. Our factory is spacious and uncluttered, working conditions are very good. General hours are 6:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday-Thursday and 6:00 am to 12:15 pm on Friday with overtime available.
