We provide 1 in every 3 pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia’s largest and most complex private and public hospitals, to small Indigenous Australian communities. This means that you will be working with purpose whilst being a part of a business big enough to offer interstate mobility, job security and opportunities to fulfill your career ambitions.

What You Will Be Doing

As National Specialist and Hospital Manager, you’ll lead Healius’ specialist and hospital strategy across Australia with a focus on growth, retention and market development. Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the executive leadership team, you’ll shape national campaigns, identify growth opportunities, and ensure the delivery of tailored, value-based solutions that set Healius apart. You’ll leverage CRM tools and performance data to guide decisions, improve efficiency, and support continuous improvement across the team.

Your key responsibilities will include

- Lead and coach a high-performing national sales and account management team
- Build and strengthen relationships with key hospital and specialist stakeholders
- Drive revenue growth through strategic engagement and solution delivery
- Oversee retention strategies and ensure service delivery meets client expectations
- Execute national initiatives and campaigns aligned to commercial priorities
- Monitor KPIs and team performance, using data to guide decisions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and operational readiness
- Promote efficiency and continuous improvement through data-driven practices and CRM tools

What Type of Person Will Be Successful

We believe everyone leads, no matter what role they are in. Our ways of leading are the behaviours that we expect our people to embody and are: Customer Focused, Accountable, Collaborative, Credible & Resourceful.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and a passion for building strong relationships across the healthcare sector. You’ll be an inspirational leader who can drive performance, influence senior stakeholders and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Attributes & Skills you would possess

- Proven experience (7–10 years) in sales, business development or account management within healthcare (ideally in pathology, diagnostics, medical devices or pharmaceuticals)
- Proven ability to lead national teams and manage complex client portfolios
- Strong understanding of the Australian private healthcare system and referral pathways
