Are you a passionate marketing professional looking for a truly autonomous role where you can make a meaningful impact? Haileybury Rendall School is seeking an experienced and proactive Marketing Manager to join our vibrant community in Darwin. Reporting directly to a Senior Executive, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape and deliver impactful marketing initiatives in a stand-alone role, while enjoying the support and camaraderie of an expert marketing team based in Melbourne.
This is a varied and fast-paced position, perfect for a self-starter who thrives on challenge and variety. You’ll take the lead in designing and implementing marketing and communications strategies that build our brand, drive student enrolment, and keep our school community engaged and informed. You’ll have the opportunity to drive projects from concept to completion, while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, execute, and evaluate marketing and communication strategies in line with Haileybury guidelines.
- Analyse data to inform future campaigns, social media, and communications.
- Draft engaging written content including marketing copy, project briefs, and external communications.
- Create and distribute newsletters, flyers, posters, and other communications to connect with our school community.
- Coordinate, capture, and schedule engaging social media content, including photography and videography.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and design of school publications.
- Support staff with marketing and communication materials using Canva and other design tools.
- Plan and promote a variety of school events throughout the year.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Executive team, Learning Leaders, students, families, and external partners.
- Participate in committees and collaborative projects.
- Coordinate media opportunities with the Director of Marketing and Principal.
- Some weekend and out-of-hours work may be required.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications and experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Canva and a talent for producing high-quality marketing materials.
- Demonstrated experience in social media content creation, management, and scheduling—including photography and videography.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and inform marketing direction.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on deadlines, including event planning and promotion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a flair for stakeholder engagement and relationship-building.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and social media management tools.
- Team player, willing to contribute to collaborative projects and committee work.
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently with a solutions-focused mindset.
