Exciting Opportunity for an Industrial Painter in Wagerup, SouthWest

Are you an experienced Industrial Painter Blaster with a passionfor delivering exceptional customer experiences? Are you seeking arole where your technical skills can truly shine? RCR Mining Technologies (RCRMT), a leading business unit within NRWHoldings, is seeking a talented Industrial Painter Blaster to joinour team at ALCOA Wagerup on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

- Perform surface preparation on steel or hard compositionobjects, ensuring the removal of all contamination andachieving the specified finish
- Apply paint or similar coatings using spraying or brushingtechniques
- Review painting specifications and comply with the requiredstandards
- Blast to profile tolerances and specifications
- Take precise measurements when measuring blast profile
- Maintain accurate records of painting thickness, includingDFTs, paint reports, salt testing, etc., as necessary
- Manage inventory of materials, including paints andconsumables, and notify the supervisor of any shortages
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of machines andequipment
- Provide guidance and assistance to apprentices and tradesassistants

Requirements

- Local residency in the Southwest region
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in IndustrialPainting or Blasting OR Relative experience
- Valid Driver/'s Licence
- Work at Heights & Confined Space Tickets
- Dogging/Rigging certification (preferred but notessential)
- Forklift Ticket (preferred but not essential)
- Physical fitness for manual labour and ability to pass adrug and alcohol screening
- Strong commitment to safety and reliable work ethic
