Your new role

As a senior leader with Uniting, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of family and children’s programs across Melbourne’s North East, including Kinship First Supports, Kinship, Family Preservation & Reunification, and Integrated Family Services.

You will be accountable for program performance across contractual, financial and growth objectives, while driving continuous improvement and fostering a safe, collaborative and high-performing culture.

Your leadership will ensure operational and practice excellence, aligned with Uniting’s 2030 Strategy to reduce the impact of poverty, trauma and disadvantage.

You will also represent Uniting on key committees, influencing policy, leading tenders and evaluation projects, and building strong partnerships across the community and with senior stakeholders.

Your skills and experience

First and foremost, you lead with purpose and values and have a reputation for enabling teams to thrive.

You will also bring with you:

- Substantial experience leading large, diverse community service portfolios

- Strong record influencing senior stakeholders & sector forums

- Deep knowledge of legislative, regulatory, & Child Safety standards

- Strategic leader with operational excellence & accountability

- Skilled in building safe, inclusive & values-driven cultures

- Advanced communication, advocacy & negotiation abilities

- Tertiary qualification in human/community services or related field, plus a current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
