Overview

Join the Perth Racing team and work amongst the Raceday action. Be part of the Ascot Racing Carnival, with major events from October to January each year, including Melbourne Cup, The Pinnacles and Perth Cup.

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Chef de Partie to work across our Functions and Kitchen outlets for the 2025-2026 Ascot Racing Carnival.

About Us

We are WA’s only metropolitan race club and manage two venues – Ascot and Belmont Park Racecourses. Racing is an all-year sport with race meets every week in every season. In addition to racing carnivals, we host corporate functions, conferences, festivals, weddings, trade shows and more.

Shifts are available for race day and non-race day events year-round, in addition to the Ascot Racing Carnival. We offer excellent hourly rates, a range of social and employee benefits, and a fun and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

- Work across Function and Kitchen outlets on race day and non-race day events
- Prepare meat, fish and poultry to a high standard; maintain fast-paced kitchen operations
- Demonstrate attention to detail and uphold core values: Integrity and Transparency, Leadership and Empowerment, Innovation and Excellence, Safety and Sustainability, and Engagement and Understanding
- Ensure safety and OSH standards are followed

Qualifications

- Relevant experience in reputable venues
- Meat, Fish and Poultry preparation experience highly desirable
- High standard of personal presentation
- Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday day shifts
- Completed commercial cookery Certificate 4 or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of fast-paced kitchen environments
- Follow OSH standards and facilitate safety standards
- Experience in conference/event history desirable
