What is the position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator Level 1 to join our team. The ideal candidate/s will create engaging and inclusive lesson plans, support student growth, and work collaboratively with staff and students.

Eligibility/Other requirements:

To be successful in this position you must have the following:

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR REGISTRATIONS/LICENCING

- Prior to commencing in this role a minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification; a current full teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT TQI)
- Approved working status –Be an Australian citizen and/or be permanent resident and/or hold a valid working visa.
- Industry experience

DESIRABLE

- Experience in teaching in an ACT College system within the ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies College/School.
- Knowledge and experience of BSSS policy, ACS, and adherence to BSSS policy and procedures.
- Experience in coordinating such as AST, moderation, certification, and pastoral care programs.

There are several Temporary Full-Time or Part-Time Positions available, and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
