The Role
Are you a skilled HR professional ready to make a meaningful impact?
We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month fixed‑term contract, based in Perth CBD with occasional travel to regional WA.
Reporting to the Manager – Human Resources, you’ll work closely with leaders across the Operations Division, helping shape strong people leadership through practical coaching and strategic advice.
You’ll play a key role in aligning HR initiatives with business goals—supporting everything from team structure and succession planning to employee relations, performance and discipline management, policy interpretation, engagement strategies, and change management.

- Work as part of your stakeholders’ management team, building a deep understanding of their business strategy and operations to provide support that is simple, efficient and supports the delivery of business outcomes
- Contribute to HR initiatives that drive business outcomes and workforce effectiveness
- Be involved in recruitment processes to ensure they are conducted in a timely and efficient manner to minimise impacts
About You
Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field, along with solid experience in a business‑partnering role
Proven ability to coach and support leaders in building strong people management skills
Strong working knowledge of HR principles and confidence applying them in everyday situations
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide senior stakeholders
Skilled in facilitating workshops on employee engagement, succession planning, workforce strategy, and employee relations
Well‑versed in workplace legislation and how it applies in day‑to‑day HR decisions
Competent in use of SAP HCM modules and Success Factors
Why work with CBH?
Work with meaning and being part of something bigger
Play a critical role in moving WA’s grain from paddocks to ports, and on to countries all around the world. With an advanced logistics network and grain trading on a global level, we provide growers with first‑class representation in the world’s food supply chain.
Your time is important
We know you have family and a life outside of work and we know this is important. We provide the flexibility and work‑life balance that allows you to be there for the moments that matter.
Benefits
- Free on‑site gym facilities
- Ongoing training and professional development to support your growth and help you achieve your goals
